Monitor your oil level every month or two. It should always be at least a ½ inch above the oil filter at all times. Top off your oil if it looks low.

ACP presses use ISO 68 hydraulic oil. You may also use AW (ISO) 68

“ISO” stands for the International Standards Organization. The number that follows is the Viscosity Grade, ISO VG for short. “AW” stands for Anti-wear.

ACP can handle the shipping for you and guarantee the delivery in upright, undamaged condition. You may also use a shipping company of your own choosing at your own risk.

Many Chinese-built presses rely on a proportioning valve in the hydraulics, which have little control over keeping the platens parallel. This means the consistency of your product cut and quality of your finished product, will vary. At ACP the flatness, parallelism, and overall precision of our presses, receives our highest level of attention. We build our presses with a mechanical linkage to ensure that the entire platen compresses and raises as a single unit.

For Swing-Arm Clicker Presses, you’ll only need to wait about 7-14 days before it’s ready for shipping.

Larger presses could take anywhere from 14- 60 days- it all just depends on how busy we are, how large the press is, and how complicated the customizations are. We’ll provide you an estimated lead time when we send you your quote.

A press being operated in a clean environment may not require an oil change for up to 2000 hours. Clean oil means a happy machine.

A press being operated in a dirty or gritty environment could cause earlier thickening or dirtying of the oil, requiring an oil change as regular as every 1200 hours.

Whatever the environment, make sure to inspect the oil consistency and color during your monthly oil inspection. If it appears to be thickening or is getting dark, it may be time to change it.

ACP’s in-house financing department can offer financing on orders over $10,000. Financing rates and terms depend on credit score, credit history, etc…

We recommend cleaning the oil filter at least once every six months. If cleaned regularly and carefully, you may not need to replace the filter for up to 5 years. If the metal finish appears to be wearing, or oxidizing, it is probably time for a new filter.

We will buy back your machine! Fill out our “buy-back” form, complete the steps listed there, and we will make you an offer. If you are looking to upgrade to a larger press, we will pay you 125% of the machine’s “trade-in value”.
