CLAMSHELL PRESS
WITH SINGLE, TIME-dELAY, AND CONTINOUS CUTTING MODE
This machine utilizes a clutch-based system that outputs high tonnages while maintaining incredible kiss-cutting accuracy. The combination of kiss-cutting accuracy, quick cycle times, and locational repeatability makes it a favorite of graphics and finishing, corrugate packaging, paper box packaging, medical packaging, and materials converting companies.
The machine requires more extensive setup time compared to other presses, but makes up for it in it’s incredible cycle time for high volume cutting. The machine has three modes; one for performing a single cut after each actuation of the cut buttons, one that uses a time delay function to allow the operator to control the amount of time delay between each cycle, and one mode that cycles at the maximum machine speed (usually to be utilized with an automatic feeding system).
The machine is equipped with safety light curtains to cover the main pinch point area, an E-stop within easy reach of the operational controls, a safety bumper that triggers the E-stop when compressed, an easy mount die clamping system for quick exchange of your dies, swinging safety guards that make it easy to access components needed for setup, a platen release for backing off an over-cut, and a flywheel wrench for backing the machine off of a dull run.
